Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Travel Activated operates the travel infrastructure platform described at travelactivated.com. We act as a data processor on behalf of sports federations, event committees, and clubs who license the platform ("Partners"). Members and travellers who book through Partner-branded portals interact with Travel Activated under the terms of the Partner they belong to.

2. What we collect

We collect only what is required to deliver the booking service and to report commission accurately:

  • Account and identity details provided by the Partner (name, email, membership ID where applicable).
  • Booking details (travel dates, traveller names, billing information for the payment processor).
  • Technical data (device, browser, IP, referring page) via standard analytics.
  • Marketing preferences and contact details submitted through our forms.

3. How we use it

To process bookings, to report anonymised performance to the Partner federation, to pay commission accurately, to meet legal and tax obligations, and to improve the platform. We do not sell personal information and we do not share member-identifying data between Partners.

4. Where data lives

Primary data is stored in the region nearest to the Partner federation. For AusCycling and other APAC Partners, data resides in Australian data centres. EU Partners are served from EU infrastructure. Sub-processors used for payments, email, analytics, and support are listed in the Data Processing Agreement provided to every Partner.

5. Your rights

You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of personal data we hold about you. Where we act as processor, we will route the request to your Partner federation. Contact us at privacy@travelactivated.com.

6. Contact

Questions about this policy, your data, or our sub-processors should be directed to privacy@travelactivated.com. For commercial enquiries see our contact section.
